Our Story
Over a decade ago we asked ourselves a question: we have trained foreign language to Chinese students for several years already, why not to set up a Chinese language school for expats who are living in Qingdao? At that time, just universities and a few small Korean and Japanese training centers had Chinese courses. There was no professional school for teaching Chinese with standards as high as the English language training industry.
We learned that expats living in China each had different schedules and study goals. Some were coming to China for a holiday, others had busy work schedules. Spending a full day in a crowded classroom or adapting to Asian training school methodologies was not ideal. Could we provide a high-quality and effective system to be flexible to all ages of students? Could we help students pass the HSK in less time, or provide business level education better?
After more than twelve years pursuing our goal to be the best place to study Chinese in Qingdao, we have built an amazing team and developed different courses for corporate clients, HSK test prep, children, short-term travel study and even online students. We offer both private (1-on-1) and small group classes from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm weekdays, and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekends.

Lexi China team members are composed of Chinese and foreigners from worldwide. We are passionate about Chinese teaching and disseminating Chinese culture. Everyone here love communicating with international students from various cultural backgrounds. We are also willing to welcome and help all the students,just like the host and the guests.

MONTHLY ACTIVITIES
Every month, we organize at least one extra-curricular experiential learning opportunity for our students. Some favorites are: calligraphy, Chinese cooking, wind-surfing, Kung fu class and a tour of Qingdao’s hot spots. Additionally, we host movie nights, parties, and other learning activities.
COMFORTABLE FACILITIES
Our school provides simple, elegant classrooms with A/C, WIFI, and a study/fun zone where students can come together to practice their Chinese or to exchange their experiences in Qingdao while drink a cup of tea or coffee.

Lexi China Chinese Language Centre is located in the heart of the city of Qingdao (directly in the CBD). With its location on the international plaza Lexi China Chinese Language Centre is located in direct proximity to traditional and international restaurants, shops, bookstores, cafés and shopping malls. The many bus lines arriving and departing at several bus stops around the international plaza provide easy access to the Language Centre. The newly opened subway now gives you fast connection to more distanced areas.
The way to Lexi China using the metro line 2
The way to Lexi China coming from the new Qingdao metro line 2 is very close and easy!
Step 1: Get of at燕儿岛路 ~ Yan’erdao Lu stop.
Step 2: Take exit A.
Step 3: When leaving the metro take the stairs on the right and immediately go left. Keep going straight until you reach a square on you right called the yuan yang guang chang~远洋广场. It is the first big square you encounter.
Step 5: From this square you are already able to see the Lexi China building (Zhonghuan International Plaza~中环国际广场) . Cross the square untill you reach the Zhangzou 2 lu ~漳州二路.
Step 6: Cross the Zhangzou 2 lu ~漳州二路to reach the Zhonghuan International Plaza ~中环国际广场.
Step 7: When inside the building take the elevator up to the 21st floor and you have reached Lexi China!
